After a long pause, I find myself drawn back here again.
In recent years, I’ve been sharing most of my days elsewhere. I’ve tried to find the spark to return to this quieter space but have never quite managed to find the motivation and the momentum to really invest here in my journal.
For quite some time, I’ve been wanting to return here and slowly make it a home for my bears, but also a place to gather together the thoughts, photos, projects and seasonal moments that don’t always find their place elsewhere. A place to gather the small details of (creative) life in my studio and beyond, those things that often get lost in the rush of things. Not with a grand plan or a strict schedule. Not even any promises. Just an invitation to slow down the pace and begin again.
The wool is still here. The mountains are still here. And of course, the bears are still here.
So here I am, returning gently…with a small wave from the doorway.
It feels good to be back. Welcome here again.
